Name: Hope
Birthday: 11/15/1983
Gender: Female

Interests: I love to: act, sing, write (music, poetry, my thoughts), attempt drawing and painting (which every once in a while I get lucky and come out with something kinda cool), listen to music, watch movies, watch "Scrubs", eat good food (especially Italian), dance, swing on swings!, blow bubbles, drive in my car when I'm not in a rush, be open and honest, give gifts, travel, make friendships that last. I love to pet dogs and scratch them, but I always feel the dire need to wash my hands immediately after. I love getting my back tickled, much more than massaged or rubbed. But I can't stand it when my mom tickels my back and her hand goes limp, yet it continues to move about aimlessly in circles, creating the agonizing feeling of monotony. REMINDER

DON'T FORGET!!!! This coming Monday night (Dec. 11th) "The Year Without a Santa Clause" airs on NBC. I have a couple of featured parts, so look out for me. It stars John Goodman and Chris Kattan.Hope & Karl (Without Santa) Check out my get up. The guy next to me is Karl, from Cali. It was his first time being an extra, he came with his girlfriend, whom played the role of the reporter. She is also the daughter of the director. This picture was taken with Karl's camera, he was nice enough to send it to me later.

My Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving break was wonderful. My amazing Trent drove to Shreve on a Saturday and we hung out here until the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, in which we drove down to New Orleans. We met up with my family, Trent met my parents for the first time, and we had a very nice dinner. The next day we hung out with some of my best girlfriends, then Faith and I showed Trent around the French Quarter and that night we met up with my parents again. My dad brought, Trent, Faith and I to get ice cream and feeling spontanious he drove to where there was a band playing nearby, once we got to the venue we realized that our friend Kevin's band was playing. They're an awesome cover band, called 5 Finger Discount. Check 'em out on myspace. The next day was Thanksgiving and Trent met my mom's side of the fam: aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, they all liked him ofcourse. My immediate family, Trent and I had planned to see a movie following the festivites, but I felt nauscious throughout the whole thing. I was miserable, luckily I had mi sueno's shoulder to lean on. When we got to my brother's apartment, I was finally able to throw up. The next two days I still felt pretty bad, but Trent and I had planned to get on the road, so we did and he let me sleep in the car. When we got back to Shreveport, we did a little shopping at the Boardwalk. The next day Trent had planned to drive back to Indiana, unfortunately we had a bit of a set back in which he was cut badly and I had to rush him to the E.R., which delayed his departure for about 4/5 hours. The E.R. is never a quick trip. It's a long, and actually funny story, but in short, the mirror in my bathroom broke and cut Trent's hand so deep, that it cut his pinky tendon. They stitched it and wrapped his hand up, which looked like the michelan marshmallow man. He had to drive a stick shift, one handed for 13 1/2 hrs, w/o his medication, because he couldn't drive while on it. It was an eventful day to say the least. He just had surgery again today, because the Bossier doctor didn't stitch the tendon together strong enough, so they had to go back in there! But he's tough and is doing good.

Break a leg on finals everyone!

MUST Sees and Listens

I am so excited to have gotten MY FIRST FILM CREDIT!!!. Thanks to Chris Ware I got a job earlier this year, when he recommended me and left the position as production assistant for Visual Effects. So everyone stay till the very end of “The Guardian” and you will see under the 2nd listing of “Visual Effects”, by “Production Assistant (s)”: Christopher Ware and Hope Gilmore.

I was blessed by a friend, Jason, who took me to the screening of The Guardian in Shreveport. Tickets were literally thousands of dollars, and his mother has connections. The real screening was in L.A. but I didn’t have the money to fly there for it. Anyway, it was a very nice evening. And I got to dress up in my silver and yellow formal dress, one of the only things I was able to salvage from my home in New Orleans. It was hanging up in my closet, folded up higher than the other clothes, in a plastic bag. I’m so glad I got to use it!

I was in a made for t.v. movie on ABC the other night, as an extra, called “Initiation of Sarah”. It’s pretty silly, unless you’re into that Halloween freaky deaky cheesy stuff. But apparently I was seen in it like 5 times, some of my friends were seen too. Anyway, in case it airs again I’m in the sorority rush, night scene and I may be on the sidewalk when Morgan Fairchild and two girls are cruising down the street watching college girls moving into sorority houses.

LOOK OUT FOR “The Year Without a Santa Claus”, scheduled to be on television about a week after Thanksgiving, starring John Goodman and Chris Kattan. I am featured in several scenes. You’ll have to watch it to find out where. ;)

ARTISTS YOU MUST CHECK OUT on Myspace: Taylor Sorensen and the Trigger Code (so talented, brother of my boyfriend, has a U2 feel, but also stands alone), Matthew Perryman Jones (who toured with my sister and is such a genuine person). Caleb Elliott (whom some of you know as Caleb Williams). Mandy Mann (close friend of my sisters, performs with her husband, especially love the song “Close Enough”), Mindy Smith (sweet voice, got to see her at a free concert in Nashville), Tyler Burkum (Also got to see him in Nashville, amazing songwriter and singer, former member of Audio Adrenaline, wrote the famous song “Ocean Floor”), Nathan Metz (Songs me and my sweetheart really enjoy, he’s from Indiana), Embrace (introduced to me by Trent, freeking awesome, fist pumping and great slow songs), Butterfly Boucher (introduced to me by Faith, fast and slow love stories, great stuff), and of course FAITH GILMORE (I could write a book, but she’s #2 on my top peeps). Also, if you haven’t already, check out my new music space (#1 on my top peeps).

EVERYONE in NATCHITOCHES, Amanda Lavergne is going to be in Shreveport on November 1st with Crossroads Master’s Commission at “a church performing in a really really amazing service. Be there or be skeletor”, says Amanda. She would love to see all of your beautiful faces! She doesn’t know the time and church yet.

TRENT SORENSEN, I miss your sweet face!
